Crestbridge opens in Bahrain

The fund and corporate services firm has acquired a Bahraini firm, Ohad Trust.

Crestbridge, an international fund and corporate services firm, has expanded to Bahrain by acquiring a local fund services firm.

Ohad Trust, which is based in the capital Manama, is also a provider of sharia-compliant and Islamic finance products such as sukuk bonds.

“The Middle East region is strategically important for the Crestbridge Group. Over the last few years we have seen significant new cases from the region requiring our family office, real estate, corporate and funds services,” Paul Perris, managing director at Crestbridge, told pfm.

“Additionally, our new office will give our existing clients access to a range of services and expertise in one of the world’s key economic regions. We will have a deeper knowledge and experience of Islamic finance products and additional Arabic speaking members of staff,” he hadded.

The existing Ohad team will remain in place led by its current directors Naser Obaid and Graham Journeaux.
